9th Judicial Circuit Court Judges
- There are 20 circuits established by the Legislature. Within each, there is a varying number of judges depending on the area’s population and caseload.
- Referred to as courts of general jurisdiction, the majority of jury trials, civil and criminal cases originate in these courts.
- Circuit Court judges are elected by the voters of the circuits in nonpartisan elections.
- Circuit Court judges serve 6-year terms, with no term limit.
