Orange County School District Board Members

• The Orange County School Board consists of 8 ​members. Each serves a 4-year term with no term limit.

• The primary responsibilities of the School Board are to
  
• ensure the operation of all public schools within the ​district;
  
• set policy and meet requirements set by the Florida ​Legislature and State Board of Education;
  
• determine the rate of school district taxes as ​prescribed by State Law;
  
• provide a safe learning environment; adopt and ​oversee the school district budget; and
  
• appoint the School Superintendent.
  

This is an open election for all voters. The winner gets the District 4 school board seat.
